The Art Of Playing "Ditzy"

A smart lady intimidates ill-willed and deceptive people. Being private about your level of intelligence and intuitiveness can speed up the discovery of knowing whether someone is a wolf in sheep's clothing. This approach during the initial phase of getting to know someone is extremely wise. Acting ditzy and somewhat of an airhead is often something that most wish to avoid. Most ladies want to put their best foot forward by over-emphasising their level of intelligence. Often doing so can come off as seeking validation or proving worthiness. When you have innate confidence, your interactions would not solely dependent on emotional impulses, but sometimes strategy which adds a little spice.

Acting vs Being Ditzy

Acting is roleplay, meaning that you are temporarily displaying part of yourself 10% of your time. Maybe it's the Gemini in me that thinks this, but "playing" a ditzy/naive character can add a little excitement during any interaction. Although this is a natural aspect of my character, I find that it has helped people be more relaxed and transparent around me. This has helped me read people a lot sooner than later. On the other hand, someone who is naturally ditzy cannot "act" as such because it is their primary position. It is a miracle if a lady with such a character trait journeys through life without getting burnt. Being naive is a weakness because it displays a lack of emotional intelligence.

These people are easy to manipulate as they believe everything a person says without verification. They are usually hopeless romantics who ignore red flags and get caught up in worse-off situations that they never anticipated. It is hard to swindle an intelligent person because they are more logical and pay attention to the signs.

Give it Time, True Colours Will Shine

Like a dear in the headlights, acting naïve and ditzy exposes the games that others try to play on you. Once you have been at the receiving end of being taken advantage of it is time to switch off ditzy. This is not a time to feel insulted or upset, rather it's a time to rejoice for being in a powerful position that allows you to walk away with your dignity intact. Filled with gratitude, you can remain calm, cool and collected, gathering your valuable presence, time and energy, leaving the joker to question "what went wrong?" Do not put your self-discipline to the test by explaining your exit, because there is a great chance that you will be gaslighted. Not everyone deserves "closure", your intuition will never deceive you, that is all that matters.

What's the Point?

The whole point of acting ditzy is not to hope that someone slips up, it is a way to observe whether a person can be trusted in our most vulnerable state. This strategy is monitoring a person's ability to be consistent, whilst coming to terms with their true intentions. In case you are questioning the integrity of the lady acting ditzy aka naive, well, everyone has a playful side that comes out once trust is established. The difference here is that the playful side is revealed much earlier to enjoy the experience of new interactions whilst being a secret genius. It is a win, win situation, she is not being fake because if it works out, she can begin to open up and blossom.

The serpent is mysterious, subtle, and silent yet humbled because they are low on the ground. Their position makes it hard for their opponent to see them coming. The dove looks innocent, gentle and precious. However, their greatest advantage is that they have the ability to fly away from unfavourable circumstances without the need for confrontation or dispute. In a nutshell, the embodiment of all of these attributes is a great source for navigating new interactions, to avoid wolves in sheep's clothing.

Most intelligent ladies were once openly, free-spirited, and naive at some stage in their life until experiences taught them to become wise, as a result, some ladies developed strategies. However, life is more freeing after learning how to interchangeably apply both playfulness and intelligence. The art is to have these two qualities coexist to work in your favour. The only thing serious about our interactive experiences is the application of discernment, everything else is fun and games. So be creative, fling on your high heels and become the best player to win. Boys will be boys, so those experiences of getting played by them are up!
